Johnston Canyon

I was reading another blog the other day and it totally inspired me to go to Johnston Canyon! What a fantastic adventure! We heeded the advice of others and wore the slip on shoe grips – very helpful! We went super early as advised and had a really good experience! It was pretty chilly in the morning but by early afternoon the sun came out and it warmed right up.  There are  few options for this stop – lower falls, upper falls and the inkpots. We headed right for the upper falls and got some cool shots and got out before the crowds arrived. If you’re ever in Calgary and are headed west to Banff for a day take an hour or two and do this quick little hike – it’s so gorgeous!
