I was inspired to shoot this photo by my buddy Rob Moses. He’s been over shooting some studio shots and his first visit he brought a book he needed some photos of for his wedding website. The second time he came over, he brought a camera and was playing around with some lighting in those shots.
I was a bit bored the other night saw this really cool old photography coffee table book I have. On the shelf right below this book sits my old film cameras. I propped up the book and shot my AE-1 in front. I was using a wide angle lens – 24mm – for the first time and liked the perspective it gives, even though I cropped the sides off.
