Cameras amaze me. They come in a myriad of shapes and sizes, capabilities and results. The one thing they all have in common though is each one is unique from one persons perspective to the next. I’m not a huge fan of television and only watch a few shows. One of the ones I’ll watch if it’s on is Chopped on The Food Network. I had an idea for a similar show for photographers. Give 4-5 photohogs a subject, an outdoor setting or an indoor studio they can create, the same camera and a time limit to take pics. Then a time limit to edit. When the time is up, 4-5 pics from each photographer’s pics are judged by a panel of pros and people are whittled down to the best. I bet that every photographer would interpret the challenges differently. I’d totally watch that – haha!
Here are a variety of older cameras that I was given by a friend. These don’t have a lot of monetary value, but that’s not the point for me. I think of the people who have used these cameras in the past. The Christmas mornings, the summer vacations, the family reunions. How many smiles have these cameras seen?? How many places have they been? It’s fun to think about, eh?!
Thanks for stopping by!
